"How long have you been doing photography?"

My passion for photography started when I was a teenager and blossomed when I had my first daughter.  I purchased the best camera I could afford prior to her birth and when she arrived, I started taking photos of her almost daily! Every time she wore a new outfit for the first time or hit a new milestone, I photographed it as a way to document and be able to re-live those moments later in life.  From there, it became a hobby and then a career!

"How would you describe your style?"

Crisp. Clean. Fun. Editorial. I am all about the natural look...I want to document things as they truly are so that my clients can look back on their portraits and re-live that moment in time.  I want to help people remember.  Remember how cool the air was. Remember how shy their son or daughter was. Remember how in love she felt with her fiance at that very moment. Remember the faint smell of the plumeria trees.  I want my clients to have memories! Memories that they can display on their walls and share with their loved ones!

When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence. ~Ansel Adams

"What can we expect at our session?"

A fun time, of course!  We will meet at the location decided on and for the first part of the session, I will photograph you and your family being just that: a family! Give the kids a chance to get the wiggles out and warm up to my camera, and then the rest of the session will be gently posed.

"What should we wear?"

Upon booking, I will send a Welcome Packet that will include a what to wear guide. Basically, I suggest to my clients to coordinate instead of "matching."  Don't be afraid of color! Color is great and prints can be a good thing as long as they aren't too distracting.

"When will our images be finished?"

Please allow 2-4 weeks to have your images completed and revealed to you (in person!) at your scheduled print consultation. After your portrait debut, a gallery will be available for you to share with friends and family to place their orders as well! I do always post a small sneak peek on my Facebook fan page right after the session so be on the look out for that!
